Need to know this!

This was a very nice way to study yoga philosophy again. Some topics were well known others were quite new, so this is a great expansion of yoga philosophy for my spiritual path and good to listen to once and again to make this information knowledge and become aware! Some questions in the quizes gave different answers than Ram mentioned in his lecture, that is why I rated the course with 4 stars.

Great wisdom taught in a great way

Nothing to compare with this course! The lessons are clear, Ram explains very well and use a lot of stories to illustrate which makes the learning absolutely great. I learnt a lot, ans much much more and in a more traditional way in this course than in my yoga teacher training I did 4 years ago with another school. I can’t recommend enough this Arhanta yoga philosophy course!

A concise, traditional and clear course

After completing my 75 hour Restorative Yoga TT with Lucia Seglie, I was once again looking for a Yoga Philosophy course that was traditional and had no Western influence. As a yoga teacher I am very limited in study time, so I ended up with an online course at Arhanta Yoga that I could work on at my own pace. This course offered just that!

Clear, traditional and professional

A big range of different subjects is explained in a clear and structured way. Ram's lessons are full of old Indian stories, that serve as an example of the subjects. Through these stories, it becomes even easier to understand and remember everything! The information is very true to tradition, something that often lacks in Western Teacher Trainings. I would definitely reccomend this course!

An excellent course where you learn everything you wanted to know about yoga philosophy! Highly recommended!

I decided to take this course before starting with full TTC, as an active and enthusiastic yoga practitioner and teacher to-be.I am so glad I took this pre-step. I have learned so much! Ram is an excellent teacher, so honest and authentic! Somehow he makes you feel like you are in real class, not online.Highly recommended for everyone who wants to get proper philosophical foundation of yoga.

Yoga philosophy in a way to remember

I am in the middle of my YTT 200 hours (not at arhanta) and realized that there is a lot of philosophy in yoga which really has to sink in. I saw this online course and just tried it to compare the teachings and find a way to really understand it. Well this one worked!! Al the stories and the way is is explained did the trick to sink in! Thanx Ram! Petra

It has opened my understanding

I have just completed the philosophy of yoga course and I have learnt so much about yoga. I trained as a yoga teacher, not to teach the asanas but to understand the philosophy behind such a complex and wide subject. My first course was based on the Bhagavad Gita yet when I had finished it I knew I needed more and this is what this course offered. It was informative, practical and thoughtful.
